On Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 May (Pentecost) 2026, the International Kruiken Tournament for Under 16 teams will be organized for the 42nd time on and around the hockey pitches of the Tilburg hockey club in Tilburg.<\/p>\n
After being organized at TMHC Forward for 33 years, the hockey tournament has been taking place just as successfully at HC Tilburg since the merger with TMHC Tilburg.<\/p>\n
The International Kruiken Tournament is a competitive hockey tournament, so fieldhockey is played at a high level. The list of winners since 1978 includes the names of various top clubs from home and abroad. Various national and district selections were regularly among the participants. In addition, the fun is certainly not forgotten, the tournament party on Saturday evening has acquired its fame.<\/p>\n
The title holders for the girls are HC Tilburg, which won against Push in the final, and for the boys, the team from Push Breda, that defeated Hurley from Amsterdam in the final.<\/p>\n
Edition 2026<\/p>\n
The 2026 Kruiken Tournament will be held on Saturday 23 and Sunday 24 May. The games will be played on the artificial grass pitches of HC Tilburg in Tilburg, consisting of 3 waterpitches, 3 semi-water pitches and 1 sand pitch. The tournament can be attended by boys and girls Under 16 teams that play National and Regional Top class.<\/p>\n
Registrations take place in order of registration. Teams from the national and Regional competitions are admitted in any case. If your team plays a little lower, you have a chance that you will first end up on a waiting list.<\/p>\n
The arbitration will be provided by federal referees (or in training) from mainly the South Netherlands district of the KNHB, but there are generally also Dutch and foreign referees from regional and national level present to ensure this is also at a level appropriate to the level of the participating teams.<\/p>\n
The first matches start on Saturday, June 7 at 10:30 am. Saturday evening is the big tournament party. On Sunday the matches start at 10:00 am, the finals are played from 2:30 pm.<\/p>\n
The registration fee per team (18 persons incl. supervision) for this tournament is \u20ac 630 This includes the costs for the meals, namely lunch and dinner on Saturday, breakfast and lunch on Sunday. If you come with more, that is of course no problem. Costs per extra person are \u20ac 35.00.<\/p>\n
