International Kruikentournament
WE’RE BACK AGAIN!
At Pentecost 2025, on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 June, the International Kruiken Tournament will be played for the 41st time on the fields of HC Tilburg. The tournament is open to all U16 teams, boys and girls, who play in the national or regional U16 competition.
The International Kruiken Tournament for the U16 youth was played for the first time at TMHC Forward in 1978. Over the years, the tournament grew into a large and well-known event. A tradition. The list of participants included illustrious club names, regional and even national selections. Later internationals played along. The event survived three, now demolished, clubhouses and a merger of two associations until the corona pandemic seemed to put a definitive end to it in 2020.
But no! Just as there are bacteria that crawl away under extreme conditions, hide, survive and resurface when the time comes, we too are now emerging again.
